For the each memory/ animated section of the website, there will be a static background with elements moving through cinemagraphic editing. Here are the first sketched and concepts of these backgrounds. The landscapes are based on a place where I have felt an intense emotion relative to grief, alone in a city, overwhelmed in a crowd, the meadow next to my old house and a the visual representation of being on the edge of grief but and feeling very far away from the person you have lost.
