Due to recording restrains caused by bad weather, I did not have the time to record more forest material and extend the length of my original forest- chase concept, so I have decided to change my idea to fit what audio I have and could make at home. Still under the theme of scary forest, instead of a person being frightened and chased by something through a forest, I am going with a more subtle horror form through sound, with simply a walk through a creepy forest, portraying the many small sounds that are scary when one is alone. This will include snapping branches, rustling leaves in bushes and a quiet stream trickling next to the path. To add some depth into the audio piece I am creating, I have had my good friend, whom is a pianist, create a spooky musical score to be used in the background throughout the scene. It adds some interest and ambiance to the piece, which makes it easier to listen to than simply a long set of footsteps.
